The theme of Girlguiding UK's Centenary Year is "Look at us now" but for some Dorridge Guides it was "Don't Stop us Now" as they took to the recording studio to record that Queen track as well as Mamma Mia by Abba.

1st Dorridge Guides met at Robanna's Recording Studio, in Birmingham, for an unusual meeting. The girls sang the songs and sound engineers mixed their singing and produced CDs for the girls to take home as a special souvenir.

Girl Guides have more of a reputation for singing round a camp fire but this exciting opportunity shows there is more to being a Guide than singing Ging Gang Gooley! Especially as you can't air guitar to it unlike the girls did to their version of the Queen hit.
