Studley District Thinking Day

The evening was exceptionally manic as the photos depict and our challenge was a trip around the world in two hours!!

Over 95% of the Rainbows, Brownies and Guides in the district took part Is this a record

Each Guide, Brownie and Rainbow were given a "passport" and each unit in the District had chosen a country to display food and culture from. The girls after a brief opening Thinking Day ceremony visited each country, collecting stickers for their passports as offical stamps of their whirlwind tour of the world (8 countries). The Studley Trefoil Guild did New Zealand, 1st Studley Guides chose Italy, 2nd Studley Guides covered India, 1st Studley Brownies did North America, 2nd Studley Brownies chose Carribean, 4th Studley Brownies covered Africa with 1st Ascension Rainbows selecting China and 2nd Studley Rainbows doing Spain. Camp fire songs were sung at the end by candlelight. A challenge well worth doing.
