During the autumn term the Brownies, 2nd Studley (St Mary's), prepared for their Artist badge and Craft badge.

Each week created items were stored and prepared for display. To complete the badges the Brownies staged an evening exhibiting all their work and invited local artists to test the girls as they created a final piece of work.

The local press ran a story and pictures. Parents were invited to view the
exibits and girls manned their groups stalls to talk about their work. They
also held a special event afternoon art workshop at the local pottery and
created Christmas dinner plates.

The event was highly successful and all
girls achieved the badges.
