Would you like to support the County and take on a County Role? Are you enthusiastic/passionate about supporting Leaders and giving girls those extra challenges? In the coming months several Advisers will have completed their term of office and there will be vacancies for the following County roles:
County Rainbow Advisor
You would be required to support and liaise with Rainbow Leaders within Warwickshire on all aspect of the Rainbow Programme, along with arranging County Rainbow events, being an active part of the Programme and Development Team by attending meeting approx. 4 times a year. Promote the Rainbow section via County website, newsletter, social media and training days, adhere to Girlguiding policies.
Are you organised, like planning and have experience of coordinating events?
Girlguiding Warwickshire is looking for a volunteer (or volunteers) to support the county training team. This will involve arranging venues for training sessions, making booking arrangements and liaising with leaders, coordinating arrangements for county training days and other events, attending training team meetings and working with the training coordinator and trainers to ensure that excellent training is delivered in the county.
You will need to be detail conscious and have excellent IT and communication skills
County International Adviser
As International Adviser you are required to organise INTOPS events for girls and leaders to be selected for international travel, co-ordinate fund raising opportunities for trips, attend Region International meetings approx. 3 times a year, be an active part of the Programme and Development Team by attending meetings approx. 4 times a year, promote international trips via County website, newsletter, social media and training days, adhere to Girlguiding policies.
